Unbelievable rescue - Catherine - 10-02-2014 I still find it hard to believe they saved the dog. Most people wouldn't have tried. http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2014/10/01/dog-became-rock-solid-after-falling-into-hot-tar-see-his-amazing-transformation-after-a-two-day-rescue/ He even wags his tail after all that. Dogs never give up hope do they. RE: Unbelievable rescue - Tobi - 10-03-2014 This is so moving. I can hardly believe they were able to get that amount of tar off him, and that he was okay in the end, showing no ill-effects! He is a lovely dog too, with a good temperament. I'm surprised he didn't suffer burns. RE: Unbelievable rescue - LPC - 10-03-2014 Thank goodness there was such a dedicated group of volunteers to help him.... An amazing story! RE: Unbelievable rescue - Tobi - 10-03-2014 There's a little bit more info. about the rescue on CNN: http://edition.cnn.com/2014/10/01/world/asia/dog-tar-india/index.html RE: Unbelievable rescue - Catherine - 10-03-2014 The tar must have been hot enough to be liquid, but not hot enough to burn. I don't know how they recognized that he was alive. All he could do was move his eyes. It is the most amazing rescue I have ever seen. It seems that rescue is always possible. I love the fact that he is wagging his tail and looking happy as soon as he can do it. I hope that dog finds a really special home. RE: Unbelievable rescue - Catherine - 10-04-2014 I couldn't believe it when I saw the video. I thought he was dead. Maybe cats are not the only ones with nine lives. |
