Dog's amazing healing! - Tobi - 10-11-2014

Tony was close to death when Animal Aid Unlimited India rescued him. He underwent surgery for horrendous wounds.
Now look at him....

(Someone made a comment about the dogs playing in cow poop! As if that matters. The cows and dogs are so happy.)

This is Tony a short time after his 2 surgeries, being cheered up by puppies who were also injured but are recovering:

It is sad to see how badly hurt the dog is, but it is wonderful that there are people there to help him. Isn't he a remarkable dog for being so trusting and loving in spite of his injuries. Somehow I am sure they were human inflicted and yet he still wags his tail and responds to those who have helped him.

He turned out to be a nice looking dog. I hope he finds a good home now and leads a happy life.

What a beautiful boy he is. What awful injuries, and yes they do look human inflicted.
There are some vile people about, and also some angels.
We should all strive to be angels.

I just can't believe that he is still a loving little creature after being so badly hurt. Dogs never seem to lose faith in us.

I think so long as there is positive energy, they are recovering and in no current pain, many are so willing to let go of the past, and live in the present. I have noticed that people with the same approach recover very quickly from trauma and surgery etc. It's a special mind-set (The "Think More Dog" Approach!)

You are right. When you focus forward you move forward. When you hold to the past you do not move at all. Healing is partly a state of mind. When you focus on wanting to recover it puts you in the right frame of mind. Dogs have the right frame of mind. We would do well to imitate our dogs.

It is working for an injured dog in India. His recovery is remarkable.
