Many shows have had pets, some real and some cartoon. They range from a snail to a horse. What they all have in common is that we love them.

I don't think the shows would have been the same without the pets. Definitely Mr. Ed needed to be there, but so did Cheddar from Brooklin 99.
Many episodes revolved around his loveable personality. All of these were special pets, but there are probably many others. They are not aways the star of the show, but the show would not be the same without them.
