A bird of a different colour - Catherine - 03-30-2026

When Lynn looked out her window this winter, she saw a beautiful pink and white bird. It must be tropical, we don't have anything that colour.
It reminded her of a cardinal, a bird we do have. She sent pictures to someone who would know. It is a cardinal, a Leucistic Cardinal. It is not albino, but it produces less colour. Instead of red, it is while and pink.

What a beautiful bird. What a rare bird. Cardinals are very rarely Leucistic. I would love to see that, but I am happy to see regular cardinals.
You never know what you are going to see when you look out the window.
