Dog trainer left 11 dogs in a hot van to die - Catherine - 07-12-2026
A dog trainer left 11 dogs in his van in small cages in the heat. They had no water and no escape. They all died.
The trainer tried to hide what he had done by cremating the dogs. He managed to cremate two before he was caught.
He lied to the owners and they were suspicious and called the police.
He was charged and has been sentenced to 12 years in prison.

I can't believe anyone would leave dogs in a van like that.
Everyone knows how hot it gets in a vehicle. He is supposed to be a professional.
Care for the dogs should have been his first priority.
Lying about it and tying to cover it up by cremating the dogs is just so wrong.
The fact that he would try to do that says a lot about him and it is not good.
I feel for the families. This is worse than just losing a pet.
They will always know their pets suffered and would have been so frightened and distressed.
Some of them will probably never have a pet again. The reminder would be too painful.
