I have never seen one up close, but i have see a group of them circling above the river.
Something must have died. I hope the festival goes well and many people learn about our
beautiful Turkey Vultures.

I am glad people showed up for our Turkey Vultures. They are a magnificent bird and they do the environment a lot of good.
Maybe we need a festival to celebrate our bats, or our squirrels. How about a Trash Panda Festival to celebrate our raccoons.
I would go to that one, wearing my Trash Panda T-shirt. Of course I have a Trash Panda T-shirt.
