A North Carolina Animal Shelter is trying extreme honesty to find a cat a home. Perdita is a difficult cat. As the shelter puts it, she is a jerk. If someone wants a cat with a less than pleasant personality then Perdita might be the cat for them. Even her picture looks annoyed.

The campaign might work. People have certainly noticed Perdita and some are considering adopting her.
Not everyone wants a sweet loving cat. Someone out there with as prickly a personality might enjoy living with a "prickly" cat.
It is worth a try and at least people have been warned so they won't come back the next day because they can't live with her.
I'm sure there is a perfect match for Perdita, a forever home where she will be a happy even if she can't be cheerful.
