Nuisance beavers put to work restoring wetlands
#1
Some farmers did not want beavers on their land chewing trees and building dams.
They were carefully trapped and released in an area where the wetlands needed to be restored.
The farmers are happy because the beavers are gone. The beavers are happy because they can happily build dams and restore an area.

It is a brilliant idea. No one can restore a wetland better than some beavers. It is what they do best.
It is an eco-friendly solution to two problems. It stops a negative interaction between farmers and wildlife in one location and it restores the balance of nature
in another location.
Everybody wins when we use nature, in this case beavers to heal an ecological problem like a dried out wetland.
I hope we do a lot more things like this. Everyone wins. Certainly the beavers looked happy.
