Jasper wildfire evacuees find welcome for their pets in Calgary

Many people have had to flee the Jasper area because of the wildfires. People had to leave everything, everything but their pets.
It is a long trip, but hotels and shelters in Calgary are welcoming people with their pets. The hotels are willing to have pets stay with their people. The shelters will give emergency shelter to any animal in need.

It is going to be a long time before people can go home. Many will have no home to go to. The fires have destroyed so much. At least they will have their pets. If you have your pets you can create a home for yourself anywhere.
