Nursing moms help mother orangutan

An orangutan mother at Dublin Zoo was pregnant. She lost her first two offspring. She just didn't know how to care for them.
The zoo approached a midwife for help. She enlisted a team of mons with babies to visit the orangutan and let her see them with their babies.
Mujur really was interested and she learned a lot from the moms. She did much better with this baby. She showed better maternal care. She was not able to master the art of breast feeding her son, but she tried.

What a beautiful caring story. All those nursing moms turned out to help another female in need. It didn't matter that she was an orangutan. They were there for her and she learned a lot from them. Imagine being one of the babies and finding out later that you were able to help an orangutan by being there with your mother. I wonder if Mujur will recognize the babies when they visit her later.
