Humans were not the first to go into orbit. We sent animals there before us to test things out.
Ten different species have been to space before us. We all know about dogs and chimps. I had heard about the mice in space.
There has also been a cat, two tortoises and a number of others.

We may not be the bravest of species. We don't do daring things until we have tested them out on animals that don't have a choice.
I am trying to picture a cat in zero gravity. It would literally be able to bounce off the walls. Cats might like space.
I think guinea pigs would rather stay home. They don't even like to leave their enclosures.
I think future space travel should be left to humans or maybe a cat or two.
