Changing our clocks is harmful to our pets.
#1
Animals thrive on routines. Our pets gear their time to our activity. Changing the clocks changes the actual time of our actions. For our pets this is confusing and upsetting. For wild animals it can be dangerous. We are out there driving at a different time than usual. It puts wild animals more at risk of being hit by a vehicle.

It is recommended that we change our clocks slowly so our pets can adjust. That doesn't help wildlife. Too many deer are killed because we changed our clocks.
A gradual change doesn't work for the people who have trouble coping with the time change. Most jobs won't let you take weeks to adjust your clocks.

For everyone's sake we need to stop doing this. It is harmful.
Our pets will thank us if we leave the clocks alone.
