Trained rats aid in fight against trafficking of wildlife parts.
#1
Rats are very clever and they have strong senses. They can be trained to sniff out things like Rhino horn and elephants tusks.
These trained rats can find animal parts better than their human handlers. This gives us a chance against smugglers.

It is going to take time to have an impact, but it will make a difference. People smuggle animal parts to make money. If the rats do their job, smugglers will make less money. In time it won't be worth the trouble to smuggle because the rats will find you. It is slow progress, but it is progress.
