The Norfolk Wildlife Trust is holding a free day long event to showcase its new Wild Youth Action scheme for young people between 11 and 25 years old.
They will get to meet with nature experts and local staff from the conservation charity. The Norfolk Wildlife Trust runs 60 wildlife reserves across the country.
The youth program is meant to involve young people in conservation efforts and actually have them do conservation work.

This is really good news for the future. Young people need to be involved in conservation at an early age. They are the ones who will be leading conservation projects in the future. Conservation is not the work of one generation. It is the work of all generations. The leaders of tomorrow need to be trained now so they are ready to take over ongoing conservation projects and start new projects of their own.
This is taking action today so that we can continue to take action tomorrow.
