Saving pets in a fire

Every year house pets are lost in fires. Firefighters try, but they can't always find our pets. Two firefighter brothers have created  a pet alert smoke detector. It flashes in a fire. If you place it near where your pet would be, firefighters can see it. 
They are working of a collar version.

This is an idea that could help. Anything that helps firefighters find our pets  is a good thing.
Once they start developing products like this they are sure to come up better products over time.
