Man searching for his cat is approached by 3 other cats

A man out searching for his lost cat is approached by a different cat. The cat followed him home refused to leave. 
The next day, two cats followed him home and refused to leave.

He has not found his own cat, but other cats have shown up. It is almost like they know he has a cat vacancy.
It is a little strange. Cats are a bit mysterious and we don't fully understand them. This is odd, but I do hope he finds his original cat.
