Humpbacked Whale freed from fishing gear.

It took 6 hours, but rescuers were able to remove 140  meters of rope and fishing gear. 
The whale was very cooperative with the freeing process.

The whale is free this time and unhurt. The next whale might not be so lucky.
We have to start being careful with fishing gear. We need to dispose of it properly and report lost gear.
The oceans are a mess and it is our responsibility is ours. Can you imagine what it was like for that whale to be tangled like that.
It must have been frightening and there was nothing the whale could do to free himself.
