Why are orange cats orange?
#1
I am not going to try and explain it. The article does that very well. What I find interesting is the fact that scientists have been working to answer the question.
They really wanted to know why orange cats are orange and they want to know how that makes orange cats different.

Humans find cats interesting and mysterious. I think humans are more interested in cats than cats are interested in humans.
They don't care what colour our hair is.

All I know is Edward is moulting because of the weather warming up everyone has white fur on them doesn't matter how often I vacuum it all up,I did read somewhere than ginger cats are usually all male and female gingers are rare.

When I had a cat I always had white hair on my clothes and everywhere else. I can imagine it is like snow storm of hair as the weather warms up.
Edward will enjoy the warm days though, once all his extra hair is gone.
The vacuum hasn't been invented that can keep up with a shedding cat.

There are more ginger male cats than ginger female cats. That may be why the scientists were curious.
They wanted to know why.
