Rhossili is a quiet, oceanside village in south west Wales. It is beautiful and peaceful and people enjoy visiting. One thing they love is the cliff horses.
A herd of horses has grazing rights along the cliff. People stop to see them. The horses have been there for generations. Now the National Trust wants them moved. The farmer as been given until December to move them.

People are not happy about this and they are fighting back. Health and safety concerns have been cited as the reason for wanting the horses moved.
The issues can probably be resolved without forcing the horses off the land. Certainly the farmer has not been given enough time to sort things out.
If the problem is one rowdy stallion, it seems a bit drastic to make all the horses move. If it is a matter of numbers, probably some of the younger ones could be rehomed. I hope this is resolved in a way that respects the horses needs.
