Marineland bears are moving to a sanctuary

Marineland is finally closed, but there are still animals on site. They have 12 bears, 30 Beluga Whales and 4 Dolphins. 
The bears are being moved to the Wild Animal Sanctuary in Colorado. The place is home to 1000 large carnivores.
It is a 2000 km journey, but it will end with them in a place where they will live almost as wild. They have never been wild so this is the 
closest they can come to natural life.

The Wild Animal Sanctuary in Colorado sounds like an amazing place. They are dedicated to providing homes for captive wildlife.

Shutting down places  like Marineland is just part of the picture. Animals that lived in Marineland now have to be provided for.
The bears are going to a better place. Let's hope the Belugas and dolphins do as well.
