A chihuahua was found abandoned in a toilet tank

A little chihuahua was found in the holding tank of a public washroom at Guelf Lake. A conservation officer called Guelph Humane Society who sent someone right away to rescue her. She is a little 6 year old female who was covered in urine and feces. They don't know how long she was there, but she likely hadn't eaten in days. She is now under veterinary care.

It is bad that she was abandoned. It is worse when you think about how she was abandoned. She wasn't just unwanted, she was dumped in the toilet.
It is lucky she was found in time. I hope they find the person who did this and I hope the little dog finds a loving home that will treat her as the treasure that she is.
