Kemp's Ridley Sea Turtles migrate from the Gulf of Mexico. They should not be as far north as Canada. As the oceans warm, turtles are following warmer waters north and are getting cold shocked. Unless they are found in time they die. Sadly this turtle didn't make it. People tried to help, but it was too late.

This is becoming a real problem for sea turtles. They follow the warm waters north and are caught by the colder northern weather.
They don't realize there is a danger. We are going to need to be more vigilant about turtles in cooler areas. We can only save them if we are on time.
