We have heard of the Gentle Barn before. Usually it is mentioned during a particular rescue. This is an article about the gentle Barn itself.
They actually have two locations. They take farm animals that have nowhere else to go. They take in the old, damaged and unadoptable animals.
When an animal is facing euthanasia, the Gentle Barn steps in and gives them a chance.

What they do is beautiful. They give love and care to animals who have never had either. The opened in 1999 and they have changed lives for the better ever since.
I am sure we will hear about them again when they are rescuing some animal.
It is nice to know they are still out there doing good.
