Over 1500 Beagles were rescued from Ridgeland lab breeding facility. They are being placed in homes, whenever possible homes with rescue dog experience.
These Beagles are not ordinary dogs. They have had no experience with normal life. It is not just that they haven't walked on grass. They have had no normal dog socialization. Living with one of these dogs is a challenge. They may never be able to respond normally as a dog.

It takes a special person to rescue a lab dog. It is hard work to try and give them a normal life.
We like to think of the dogs living happy, healthy lives after their rescue. The people taking them in are doing the best they can.
They will give the dogs as good a life as the dogs can handle, but they are so emotionally and socially damaged that it will always be hard.
We should not be able to do things like this to dogs in the first place. All Beagle breeding facilities need to be closed before more dogs suffer cruelty and are left damaged.
