No Mow May comes to an end. Now what

No Mow May has given many creatures like insects a chance. Now that the month is drawing to a close, and the grass is about to be cut, many other little animals will  be at risk.

Small mammals, amphibians and reptiles could be killed as the grass is cut.
It is recommended that you disturb the grass before you cut.
This would warn little creatures and a give them a chance to escape. 
If we care enough to give the insects a chance, we should care enough to let other creatures survive.
