Greenwood Wildlife Rehab Center in Colorado was in the path of a fire and got the call to evacuate.
Several months ago the staff had spent time creating a disaster plan. They put that plan in action and got all 600 animals out in 48 minutes.
They could see the smoke in the distance as they were packing up. Animal were placed with various people who could care for them.
The wildlife canter survived the fire and they are already bringing animals back and settling them in.

That is an incredible evacuation. They even took in a new rescue and helped it as they were packing up.
I know planning helped and it must have been a very good plan, but they were also determined to save everyone.
