Newborn puppies saved in time for Christmas
#1
A litter of Yorkshire Terrier puppies was born a couple of weeks ago. Sadly the mom died when they were days old. The people were unable to care for them.
Fortunately they were surrendered to the Toronto Humane Society. They were quickly placed in foster care where they have been brought back to health.

They are such cute little puppies.
It is good that they were brought in soon enough that they could be helped. It is not easy to raise orphaned animals. Without the financial resources and the experience, it would be very hard to raise the puppies without their mother. They need to be fed so often that by the time you finish feeding the whole litter, it is time to start over again.
They did the responsible thing to surrender the puppies to those who could care for them. Now those puppies have a happy future ahead of them.
They will be much loved pets in their own forever homes.
