Wild horses key to controlling wildfires in Spain
#1
Spain has had trouble with wildfires. Since wild horses have been grazed in a certain area there have been less fires. The horses clear the dead vegetation from around the trees. In particular they eat the gorse that is particularly flammable. Unfortunately the horse numbers have declined.

They have an ecologically friendly, sustainable way to control fires.
Now they need to work to keep the horses thriving.
There is a link between climate change, ecological damage and declining of species.
If we can work on balancing and restoring things we can reduced the effects of climate change.
If the wild horses were increased and restored to their natural habitat who knows how much good it would do.
It would be wonderful to see it.
