A moose had fallen through the ice on the river and was trapped on Saturday. A tow truck driver spotted him and used his tow truck to pull the moose out of the ice.
He them took him home and covered him in warm blankets. It took a bit of time, but the moose recovered. he hung around until Monday and then he wandered off.

He definitely saved that moose's life. That fact that he took so long to leave means he was really worn out.
It was lucky timing that the moose was found in time and that the guy had a tow truck which was capable of rescuing a moose.
