A 70 year old loggerhead turtle was found off of Florida, swimming in confused circles. The people called for help and the turtle was rescued and taken to a
turtle hospital. She had no obvious injuries, but was underweight. After a period of good care, she improved and has since been released.

Big thanks to the people who found her and waited until she was rescued. They saved her life.
The turtle was tagged so we know some things about her. She has successfully nested so it is important that she carry on.
We may never know what was wrong with her, but we do know her rescue was a success and she is back out there in the ocean living as she should.
