I am the one who started this thread and I took a neutral position from the start. Even the title refers to a controversy, but does not state that there was animal abuse. I was not sure of the video, but because there was so much publicity I felt we needed to look at it.
I agree with you about the timing of its release and I am not surprised to find out about the editing. Just because something appears of the internet doesn't mean it is true. I felt bad that a good movie, that had the potential to do good, was being damaged by an online campaign.
