Volunteers risk lives to rescue pets from bombed out Beirut
#1
Many pets needed rescuing after the bombing of Beirut. Volunteers from Animals Lebanon risked their lives to go into the damaged areas to find pets that had to be left behind. They have done an amazing job in spite of the danger. They have found 120 pets in the suburbs and another 60 in the south.

Sadly, in a conflict between human groups, it is the animals that suffer the consequences. Many animals were rescued, but sadly for some, the rescue came too late. I know Animals Lebanon is doing an incredible job. They will rescue as many animals as possible. Sadly there will continue to be more and more animals that need rescuing.
