France controls bird flu by vaccinating ducks
#1
France undertook a program of vaccinating ducks. Ducks are the farm animal that most likely has bird flu outbreaks. Vaccinating the ducks breaks the transmission of the virus. Instead of hundreds of outbreaks, they had just ten outbreaks.

This shows that we are not helpless against things like bird flu. We can make good decisions that prevent the spread of diseases.
We just have to plan and act on the plans. I hope the rest of the world can learn from France.
