Birds with jobs.

Birds are being used to prevent problems with birds.
In particular falcons are used to keep to keep Gulls away from landfills.

This is important work. Gulls can overload an area when they are  looking for food. They can become aggressive and territorial if  there is food involved.
A trained hawk keeps the wild birds on edge. They find it too dangerous, so they move on. 
One trained hawk can  make all the difference.
