Ale is used to remarks like that. Her great big bear is actually a Newfoundland dog, a big black Newfoundland dog. His name is Napoleon and she adopted him when he was 9 weeks old. He is big, he is loveable and he has been her lifeline when she went through a hard time. Napoleon isn't trained to help, he just instinctively knows what to do.

Just hugging a big dog like that would make you feel better. Newfoundland dogs are big loveable giants. And yes they do look like bears.
My neighbour's adult daughter and family had a big black Newfoundland dog. I would look up and see a bear coming down the sidewalk towards me and then I would realize that it was Penny. If you can't have a dog like that yourself, it is nice if your neighbour's have the dog. I would love to have Napoleon as a neighbour.
