It turns out a barking dog was calling for help

A barking dog was keeping people awake one night. The sound was coming from a construction site. When they checked, they found a dog trapped in concrete.
How the dog did it, we will never know, but it took a rescue team 7 hours to free the dog. A little veterinary care and the dog is fine. The dog also has a family who were glad to get her back.

I guess we should always check when we hear an animal in distress. You never know when you might save a life. This dog certainly would not have made it without her rescuers. The rescuers wouldn't have known she was there if people hadn't checked.
