I had assumed that the Quaker Parrot was named after the Quakers.
Now that I think of it that makes no sense at all. Why name a parrot after Quakers. Wouldn't it make more sense to call them quaking parrots?
I would love to see a pair building one of their nests. It must be quite a sight.
