Hiccupping animals

I can't believe some of the animals that get hiccups.

I knew that it was fairly universal that mammals could get hiccups but I've never seen a bird with them before!!

Why do all animals look startled when they get the hiccups. I have never seen a reptile hiccup, but I have never watched for it. It would be funny to see a snake with hiccups.
