There is a puddle on Brooklyn New York and someone put some feeder goldfish in that puddle. The goldfish are from a pet store and they were being sold as food for other animals. Instead these goldfish ended up in a puddle. Some people loved seeing the fish. Others were sure it was cruelty to the fish.
Some of those people actually stole the fish.

Whatever happened to the fish, they were still better off than being tossed in a tank with a piranha.
They looked okay in the pond. I don't know how good the conditions were. Goldfish do well in outdoor ponds. I think the pond was too shallow for winter survival so something would have to have been done. I am not sure stealing them was the right move. It would have been better to discuss the situation and find a solution that works for everyone, including the fish. They have been taken from the puddle, but how well are they being looked after?
Everyone involved has a right to know that the fish are okay.
