Of course it was rush hour when a raccoon, affectionately known as a trash panda, wandered onto the subway tracks.
It took 45 minutes to get him to move and 15 shuttle buses to replace the trains until he moved. Just another typical Toronto Transit day.
Earlier in the week a cat got under a streetcar and had to be rescued.

We have our transit glitches and sometimes there is a trash panda involved.
To really mess up it takes a human.
A garbage truck driver managed to rip out a number of streetcar wires with his truck.
That will take a week to fix. Racoons just do annoying 45 minute delays.
