A lot of land is used for golf courses. It is high maintenance land, needed a lot of water and fertilizers. Some of the world's golf courses are being returned to nature. Their ecosystems are being restored. This is happening in a number of countries around the world. The former golf courses are now parkland where nature and thrive and humans can connect with nature.
Even golf courses that are still being used, are being transformed by more natural areas and green methods of maintaining them.

Anything that rewilds a part of the planet, however small, is a good thing.
Rewilding golf courses is a great move. Golf courses contribute little to their ecosystems and deplete water and create pollution.
I think we should rewild all golf courses or at least hold them to greener standards.
The planet will bne better for it.
