Deadly pathogens found in raw commercial cat food

Raw commercial pet food was found to contain a number of dangerous pathogens, even some that are resistant to antibiotics.

Raw cat food and raw dog food have become a real trend. The idea might seem to be good, however raw meat can be dangerous.
It would be hard to prepare it and package it for sale without contaminating it. It would be safer to use cooked food. If you really want raw food, to be safe you would need to buy raw meat  and prepare it yourself.
