This past week has been Guinea Pig Awareness Week.

Of course at my place, every week is guinea pig awareness week. 
The focus this year is on comfort, care and companionship.
That is important. Guinea pigs do love to be comfortable. They love comfortable things to sleep on.
They do need proper care and feeding. They are always wanting to be fed. The especially like their fresh vegetables.
They do need companionship. They don't always want to be handled, but they do want you to be there.
They do like to be talked to. Sometimes they even talk back.

With just a little bit of your time, your guinea pig can have a happy life with you and you can have a happy life with your piggie.
