Bee killing pesticides don't improve profits
#1
Pesticide use is very wide spread and the justification for it is that it increases yields and therefore profits. This belief has contributed to the continued use of pesticides, in particular Neonicotinoids even though we know that they contribute to bee deaths. Neonicotinoids have been linked to "colony collapse disorder" and have put a number of bee species at risk.
Yet we still continue to use them.

Our justification for what we are doing to the bees of our planet is the need to produce bigger yields and yet there is no link between bigger crops and pesticide use. Isn't that a definition of madness, doing the same thing over and over hoping for a different result. The result we are going to get is the loss of the bees we need to pollinate our crops. The final result will be lower yields of food. We need to wake up and act on what we know while we still can.
