Many people are in isolation at home with their pets. The pets are making a real difference to the well being of their humans.

Even if the pet makes a mess and causes lots of problems, it is still better than being home alone with nothing happening.
Pets do the most ridiculous things and they make us laugh. They need our care and they keep us focused on everyday normal things.
In the midst of a global pandemic, the litter pan still needs cleaning and the dog needs a walk. Our pets take us out of ourselves and they keep us grounded. Being isolated at home without a pet would be a very lonely and tedious experience.
