The EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) is planning to phase out animal testing in the future. For now, any animals that survive its testing will now be retired and not killed. So by 2035 the EPA will no longer be doing animal testing. The animals that are currently involved in tests will be given a chance to have a life outside of the lab.

This is a step in the right direction. All the rabbits caught up in the EPA labs deserve to be freed from their horrible lives. I just wonder why it will take so long to stop animal testing. If they know they plan to stop it and they have admitted that it doesn't work, why not stop the testing right away.
