That is a very concise presentation and it makes the importance of predators so clear. If only governments all over would listen.
Killing the wolves will not help the caribou. The cull will probably make things worse. The caribou will probably over graze and damage areas that the wolves would have protected.
It takes an open mind and a good imagination to see the intricate balance between species and between species and the environment. Any quick solution like a cull is certain to be the wrong solution.
If they would leave things alone, nature could create its own balance.
