NZ bans cosmetic experiments of animals

We  can look up to New Zealand as a world leader in this issue. Even China is exploring other methods of testing.

This is wonderful news in a year where we could use some good news. I think having countries willing to take a stand and actually ban cosmetic testing on animals is going to increase the pressure on other countries that still allow animal testing.

If you connect the information in this post to the articles about Alzheimer's and Muscular Dystrophy, you can see that the use of animal testing needs to come to an end and it is coming to an end. Animal testing doesn't work, we know it doesn't work and we actually want to stop doing it. We can no longer justify the extreme cruelty of using animals they way we have in the past.

So three cheers for New Zealand as a wonderful, modern and compassionate country.
