100 Reindeer killed by trains in Norway

Since the migration is not continuous all year long surely they could take precautions at certain times of the year. 
They could even stop the trains for a few days if that would help. 

They can't let this go on. I hope the public gets involved. They could refuse to ride the trains or ship goods  at times when reindeer are at risk. They need to install fences and crossing zones. Bridges or tunnels would allow reindeer to safely cross.
It might seem expensive, but the cost of creating such carnage is much higher in other ways that money.

You sum it up so well that you have respected the Norwegian people and now you feel outraged by them. As a country they stand to suffer a serious loss of respect and reputation. Those things are hard to regain once lost. We shall be watching to see what they do and judge them accordingly.
