Dog who lost puppies comforted by stuffed toys

I wonder if they could give her a puppy to care for. Animal shelters often end up with puppies that are still too young and require fostering. It would comfort the puppy and comfort Kiah.

Animals grieve as much as we do. Even though her puppies were not born yet she knew she was expecting and she knows she lost the puppies. Maybe she doesn't understand all the details, but she knows what she lost and it is making her very sad.
I hope they find people who can lift her spirits and help her to feel whole emotionally.
